yes i fully agree there are way too many CSI. my fav CSI is CSI Miami. ooh no...there is purely fictional stories, not reality. No way, there is always clues lying around. and out of the clues, no way they can SPECIFICALLY identify which clue lead to the real murderer. Watching CSI sometimes, well in a sense, makes me wanna slap my real-life CSI dept for being insufficient n unable to track real murderers. hehehe.
but! i still like CSI !! CSI tells u the latest trend !! like a boss hire a group of special actors to please his employee(wow, such actors really exists?!) , underground parties, drugs alternatives...wow...its really educating. hehehe

Actually, there are currently SEVEN different "CSI" type shows,
1) CSI "The Original" (based in Los Vegas)
2) CSI Miami
3) CSI New York
4) Crossing Jordan (takes place in Boston, MA)
5) "Bones" (takes place at the fictional "Jeffersonian Institute" in Washington, DC)
6) "House" (a CSI involving Doctors trying to diagnose the "disease of the week"
7) N.C.I.S. (Navy Criminal Investigative Service). You have the morgue (old David McCallum, "Ilya" from U.N.C.L.E), the crime lab (spunky Pauly Perette as "Abby"). Then you have the wacky band of Special Agents (team leader "Jethro Gibbs," played by Mark Harmon, skirt-chasing "Agent DeNozzo", played by Michael Weatherly from "Dark Angel", Cote D'Pablo playing Ziva, a steamy Israeli Mossad agent who's slumming in NCIS, and "McGee" (the geeky agent who DeNozzo calls "Proby"). Plus Lauren Holly as the "Lady Director" of NCIS (who has a steamy past with Gibbs).
And then there is Morgue asst "Palmer" and special agent "Ming" (lovely asian eye candy).
All in all, "NCIS" is the best of all the "CSI" style shows. It combines the boring "procedural aspects" of the CSI format with the wacky dialogue and special rapport among the talented cast. It is no surprise that NCIS is now one of the top ten TV shows, it keeps getting better with age!

I used to watch CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, but I got tired of it. It's really sad when good series don't know when to end. The shows haven't been so great lately.

i'm taking a break from CSI & CSI Miami for the time being as there are soooooo many crime tv series to watch from as well and it's easy to get burnt out of watching too many.

I agree, way too many crime shows, I don't know how we are all so facinated. Even Law and Order is getting in on it with Law and Order: CI. It's too much, it makes so many people scared. I'd rather watch a nice comedy or a show that is historically accurate on the history channel.

I only like CSI Las Vegas, everyday when I come home I turn it to Spike TV and watch all 3 episodes back to back. I think I've seen every single episode.

I have never liked Miami, but used to love the original. Now, I'm a little bored of the original and quite enjoy New York (I love Eddie Cahill!) but, yes...a little too much of a good thing.

Who else has noticed Horatio Crane's - Csi Miami - constant head tilt and glasses on... no off...no on, again 'bit'.
And his continual bonding with the kids - 'I'm always gonna be here - I truly understand you.'
