Periodically depressed is better than always depressed. It means that you are getting better. The thing with a broken heart is that you cannot hasten it's healing . . . the heart has its own timetable. Here's a favorite quote from Helen Keller:
“What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us.”
Be patient, in time you will. One day you'll think about her and won't get sad anymore. In the mean time, do what you enjoy doing most and your heart will take care of itself. Take care.

Find someone else to obsess on. If that doesn't work, wait 20 years, ask her out & then, when she DOES go out with you, find out how wrong you were about liking her to begin with. That's what I did. Or, a third option is anti-depressants.

Well depends on how serious she is with the other person, it might be good to keep her in mind, but in the mean time keep yourself busy with some fun activities, meet other people, etc
