Ya. It's happened to me.
After i graduated from high-school i had a really bad job. so after i quit... my income sucked. i was down to only about $20. anyways, so i went in my room and put on my boots to go for a walk and think about things.
As i was putting my foot in... there was a lump. and i'm thinking to myself... "Wtf???" i look inside and there is $300. i was so stinkin' happy. i was able to get another job that very same week, too.
This was a couple years ago...

Yes a few times today. The worse it to put money somewhere and not remember putting it anywhere. Like I did today and my heart stopped. Finally found it.

Yes, it's actually a good way to budget too. When I get paid, I put some aside and 'forget' I have it. That way, I can buy something in an emergency if need be.

What an awesome feeling... needed 200 to help with house payment and found it in the laundry. Hubby forgot to empty his pockets and the rule is " what is in the laundry is mine"!!!

when i left army i had leave i turned in like 4 months worth came to about 2500.00 thought i lost it that was 15 yrs ago 2 years ago i pulled out old dress uniform and shaaaazzzzzm . guess i should not have got drunk when i got out

i had almost 1000.00 in checks put away and 2 months later was looking for them and it took me 2 weeks, but i finally found them. what a relief!

i once put five bucks in a pair of jeans then i washed them. then i put them on and found it. it was from about 2 years ago.
