The computer offeres various Athlon processors and other options. Lenovo purchased the IBM Desktop line last year. We've been an IBM University before, during, and after the transistion. In fact we had dinner with our Lenovo rep a few weeks back. The company is doing very well. Lenovo is just offering a line of computers other than the IBM Thinkcenter. This line uses an Athlon processor as oppsed to an Intel processor. You can view various models at www.govconnection.com.
