Because I LOVE these stores and though I'm not terribly old now, I can't imagine that I will EVER stop loving them; I can't imagine wearing boring "grown-up" clothes!

you cant imagine it now, but the time will come when you want to look different. not necesarily more "grown up", because theres plenty of stores for people in their 20s and 30s that sell provocative or chic clothes... im only 16 now and i shop at Hollister or A&F and AE, and im guessing after college at the LATEST is when ill graduate. but its really up to you, when you feel more comfortable wearing different things, go for it. it doesnt have to be overnight either. it can be a gradual thing.

My mom shops at Forever 21 and Im 18 so you can figure what her potential age might be. But she doesnt buy the really young looking clothes though, she finds alot of things there that she could wear to work or other tasteful things. She also likes their cheap jewelry. I shop at American Eagle and I KNOW!! I love there clothes, I just discovered it like 2 years ago because I used to live overseas (Japan) since my dad was in the military. I love it and I cant imagine wearing any other sort of clothes either!

Even more scarier is wearing cat sweaters with the matching long skirts that old people or teachers wear. I REFUSE to dress like that when I grow up haha

Give me a break... 30, 35??? If you like 'em, wear 'em! Obviously those who answered 30 and 35 are probably 15 and think that is WAY old! If you can still fit in AE and F21, then go for it! And I agree with another poster, stay away from the hip tight jeans that show crack. No one wants to see that no matter how old (or young) you are! Since when did it become cool to show your nasty butt crack anyway?

Your are a young or as old as you feel. If you can still fit into their clothes or wear it without looking freakish (eg. like an old person trying to look young) then the clothes were designed for you. I don't think there is an age limit on there clothes, unless you are shopping at Gymboree.

I still find stuff at forever 21, and I'm way beyond 21, that's for sure. It think that, as long as what you choose is age-appropriate and tasteful you are fine. Don't go buying low-rise pants that are tight in the hips and butt if you've lost your 20-something figure!

My mom is 46 and still shops at those stores! I didn't know there was an age limit on clothes! Where whatever makes YOU comfortable and stop worrying if you are to old to wear them.
