Dude.... LIMEWIRE F-ing SUCKS. Dont mess with them or Kazaa or the entire Gnutella network. Its packed full of spyware and tracking programs. Im not paranoid, I just know this for a fact because I got busted for copyright infringement and piracy a few years ago from using them for P2P connections. Also, make sure you check all the hidden files those programs leave behind. When you download using them it places multiple copies of the files into other folders you dont know about. Thats how it got me. Just thought you shold know.

Yeah, you can download the free Limewire program to your computer. I have the free version and it's cool but your search of songs is limited. I still suggest you download it.

Limewire is still legal and free for downloading, I believe, but downloading copyrighted material from it is arguably not legal -- some say it is legal, and that it's only the distribution of copyrighted material that is illegal (and it is), but the RIAA is working very hard to convince people that it's illegal. Hard to say at this point.

Limewire is free but its illegal and it downloads virsues to your computer thats how mine got ruined

File sharing programs such as Lime-Wire and Bear Share in and of themselves are not illegal to possess or use, but downloading copy-written music with them is illegal. But, the chances of actually getting in trouble for it are slim to none.

from what iv'e heard, limewire is free, but it's illegal and it gives you viruses and slows down your computer.
