Hurican's get stronger with warm water, that's why they always grow in the golf because the water's of florida are warm.

During the fall the waters by NY are very cold and a hurrican would die out

Hurricanes blow in from the Atlantic Ocean! There has been a hurricane or two that hit Long Island but I can't tell ya dates or when last was!

Lol, your asking beacause like me, we have HORRIBLE wind. Trees blew down, Fences etc.
