yes but be prepared for a fight. if they give you a hard time go to the states website (www.michigan.gov) and type in fair wage and labor act in the search engine it will take you to the department that handles that and you can send them an email. Heck you can do that tonight and they will reply next week. i think within 72 hours. I would get in touch with them now just in case you have problems-then you will have received the paperwork to file a claim. Heck now you may even be able to download it.

I quit my job 6 weeks ago with absolutely no notice, quit at the end of my shift and they mailed my vacation in a seperate check.

Yes. Once you have accrued the vacation time, it is rightfully yours. You are not entitled to sick pay though.

You may be entitled to it, but you're probably using it up by not giving any notice.
