Is it talking on the telephone, chatting on IM, e-mailing, or just talking to someone face-to-face? Think about the circumstances...
And why is it the cheapest?

Talking to someone face to face is truly the cheapest form since it doesn't require the use of any energy other than your energy and the person you are talking to.

For communicating across distance, email or IM would be the cheapest since you can do it from most any computer for no more than the cost of monthly service from a provider.

Phone service, depending upon whether it is mobile or land-line would seem to me to be the next in line. Since you pay for a set number of minutes on a cellular phone, you're bound by additional costs if you exceed those minutes at a very high rate. Land-Lines are paid at a set rate per month, but long distance service is an additional cost.

Well, if you are close to the person yoy want to talk to, then face to face is obviously the cheapest. If you live far from that person, then the email is the cheapest. Nowadays you don't even need to buy a computer to send an email.

Talking face to face and e-mailing are the cheapest. Talking face to face doesn't cost anything and e-mailing you use the internet which doesn't cost a lot.

I'd say the cheapest form of communication is through e-mail. I would've said face-2-face but my time is very valuable!

If you have to fly somewhere to get a face to face then that is expensive...I go with either telephone, im or email...I have the bundle with Time Warner so they are all about the same difference.

Talking face to face is very cheap and you can go so many places with a good conversation. Many people fake when they can hide behind keyboards or dialpads. Want a real old fashion good time, sit down and talk with a friend.
