For me:Sense of humor is a must
Have to have a great butt.
Have to have a great smile, and eyes
Has to be clean.
Has to have some kind of goal in life.

These are my picks:
For a girlfriend...
1) Dedication - to the relationship
2) Honesty - are there any other men she is after?
3) Commitment - maybe not right away, but why bother dating if your not serious about wanting to stay with that person
4) Physical Attributes - all men are different, but there needs to be some attraction
5) Future Plans - Does she want kids? Where will we live?
For a friend...
1) Being there - Whenever possible, help out and more
2) Mutual Interests - Need some things both like to do
3) Other Friends - Does she do drugs? are her friends jerks?
4) Distance - Is it a long distance friendship(online, overseas, etc.)
5) Where it may lead - fringe benefits, possible relationship

1. Physical Attraction- this is different from guy to guy. Most guys are visual creatures.
2. Personality- Looks get you in the door, personality keeps you in the room.
3. Sense of humor- someone that doesn't take themselves super serious.
4. Loyalty- The last thing you need is someone that always wants to stray.
5. Avoids drama- Probably the number one headache for men is created by too much drama!

Depends on the guy. Most guys who are gentlemen would probably look for a good sense of humor, affection, intelligence, out-going personality, and nice features.

Definately a glowing personality (likes to laugh, isn't bitter, unique from the norm).
height (I am 6'4", and often I don't come across many tall girls)
eye colour (preferably green or blue)
not overweight
scent (I go wild for bitter smells, like raspberry......oooooooh =) )
