Donkey Kong is a Nintendo character. That means you'll only find him on Nintendo game systems, like the SNES, Gamecube, or Gameboy. If you're looking for a new DK to come out, you'll want to wait for a Wii release. You wouldn't find the Mario brothers on any other systems either. Some games and/or characters will sort of "jump" systems (like...you'll find Mortal Kombat on multiple platforms), but not Nintendo characters!

The straight answer is no.
Donkey Kong is owned by Nintendo, so it's only going to appear on Nintendo consoles as long as Nintendo is in the console business.
If Nintendo should get out of the console business, then it's likely that DK would appear on other consoles. Sonic belongs to Sega, and when Sega got out of the console business, Sonic started appearing on other consoles.
