The ever so common, "Do you think he likes me?"?

Question

I have this very shy guy friend whom I've known for almost four years. I used to be a very big girl and have recently lost almost eighty pounds over the course of little over half a year. Well, about a half a year ago I had told this guy friend that I liked him.... well just guess what his answer was..However, now it's a half a year later and he's taken me to homecoming, bumped into my hand and said," Oh sorry, I was going to hold your hand," and a few people telling me he definitely likes me. I had recently sent a friend to ask him if he may like me as more and I was told that he said, "I don't know." When I had confronted my friend about it he just made excuses, not denying that he said, "I don't know", but saying that he was "distracted" ....doesn't really make sense to me..so I kept telling him that he wasn't really making sense and that the question, whether he heard it or not, was an easy one to answer, but then he says, "Well what do you want me to say?", the convo ended there.

Move on,make him jealous,go on a "fake date" with his friend or something ( gossip about it compulsively before you go on the date) and see if he reacts. Then he will tell you the truth. Good Luck-

i think hes kind of confused right now.
he keeps making excuses?
dont demand answers right away.
you can just hang out and casually bring up a LITTLE bit,
and if he starts making excuses, just leave him and move on to other subjects.

he will confess later on if he does. or doesnt.
