I like Sea Breeze. Ever since I started using it, my skin has been oil-free, and i haven't gotten any pimples. It also feels very fresh on my skin compared to Neutrogena which I have tried. Just don't put it near your eyes otherwise they will get very red and irritated. Not fun!

A hot iron does great and is light on the budget. Or you could try some with hazel, which normally comes in an alcohol solution, which is also an astringent. Alum is also an astringent, but I'm not sure if it's safe to use on a light cut.
