Got a magic wand for Christmas, aged 7, and after much anticipated excitement, waved it around but no sparks came out of it and suddenly realised it was just an inert black plastic tube with white tips on the end.

At that exact moment, something inside me died.

Everything is as real as you believe it to be.

"Magic" for some is the lack of an explanation.
The "Death of Magic" is the discovery of the explanation.

What you lack is the question to ask that has no answer yet.
The "Magic" will return as you look for the answer.

Here's my question to you;
When did you stop believing in yourself?

You should have taken that black plastic wand and then looked at the directions that came with it. You might have turned out to be the next David Copperfield.

Pick up the wand my friend, discover the magic again.

For me i learned that magic really does exist, just not like we see in the movies. Everything around us almost is magic. Human life, animals, trees and plants. The planet itself. We are the only planet in our solar system that has life on it that we are aware of that is intelligent. That to me is magic, life itself. the ability to reproduce, create things from particles so small we can not see them. Science is magic as well. If you were to go back to the middle ages todays scientists would all be considered wizards. So NO there is no hocus pocus with a wand like harry potter, but true magic is life itself. If life is not a miracle and magic than nothing is.

The existence of magic would make observational science impossible. Ipso facto, assuming observational science is possible and consistent, magic cannot exist.

The "possibility" for something to exist is fine and good, but the way a person should act is in the understanding that something doesn't exist until it is proven otherwise (or that it is pragmatic to approach the situation as if said something exists). The same argument can be made for religion, and then people say "well if you worship god and he exists you won't go to hell" but alas, in this situation, following one course of action precludes other courses of action that follow the same terms. Ergo (I am the architect?) I remain agnostic.

At around 7, I too realized magic wasn't really. A couple months ago, I realized it actually is real. Wild stuff, kind of a long story, but you too will see the magic. It won't be much longer.

When held in the right hands, they can make bunnies, fake flowers or even people materialise - & provide a great deal of entertainment. You tell people there's no such thing as magic, but it's an illusion & if you're clever enough, you CAN actually make something happen. No magic also means no Santa & no tooth fairy.

Probably realised there was no such thing when I was about 6 or 7.
You will always get the chalertons who will expliot the gullable ,and the saddos who think it is real ,you can tell the saddos as they spell it with a K instead of a C .I think they think it's a technical term ,and will talk about things like negative energy (like you can get energy with a -0 reading )

You know nothing my friend, there is a lot more to magic then a kids wand. The thought of it can control people, and not only those who are weak
