Depends on the condition but about a dollar or so

One cent! If you mean ... "How much is my 1943 silver penny worth?" that's different. They were made toward the end of World War II because the copper normally used to make pennies was needed for the war effort. The zinc pennies are very common and still in circulation, but they are worth more than a penny. Take it to a coin shop and ask them. What you want to look for is a 1943 copper penny. They're extremely rare because very few were made (the war effort) and, because of the limited production, are very valuable.

The 1943 1 cent coin was made of Zinc-coated steel during that year due to shortage of copper for coinage because of World War 2. Depending on condition, they can be worth anywhere form 25 cents (fine condition) to 75 dollars ( doubled Denver mint mark).

Keep it out of the rain, that the kind of silver that will rust.
Depending on the condition and possibly where it was minted, maybe worth $1 and up. Even, if, it only worth a penny, there would be someone give at least a dollar to have it, if, they not have one.

If it really is silver, then quite a bit. if it is actually Steel, as it probably is ( they made them out of Steel because copper was needed in the war) then it is worth about 10-70 cents, depending on the condition.
