Well, I LOVE the look, but why wear them?

Men wear hats to keep the car grease and dirt out of their hair.
Men wear hats because it doesn't hurt as much when you hit your head on blunt, sharp, hard objects

Men wear hats to cover bald spots.
Men wear hats because some women love hats.

Men wear hats because they draw attention to the eyes.
Men wear hats because they frame the head nicely.

Men wear hats because granddad wore a had.
Men wear hats because they keep the sweat out of the eyes.
Men wear hats to keep the head warm.
Men wear hats because women like notice.

I suppose guys don't have as many accessories as girls do, so a hat is one of the few things they can add.
Also a few years ago hats with Branding on them became a status thing.
I always get annoyed when they wear them indoors. I see it as bad manners.

Since I became bald, I wear one in the summer to prevent sunburn a,d in the winter to keep warm.

Some wear them to cover their baldness and some because their into sports and it's just a sport thang!

I think that they also good conversation starters like when you go to the store or something and people comment on it. Plus I think the 1st answer is pretty true as well.

Some just wear it for style, some where it because they are bald or don't have much hair.

when I was a kid I never liked one,because I didn't want to mess my hair up. now,with not much hair,I wear one to keep warm in winter,& protect from sun in summer. I have a silver plate in my head & need to keep sun of because it gets to hot & has made me fella little dingy at times!

The think they look good in them. Granted some look Hott in them but others ugh

- It hides their hair when they dont like how it looks
- It hides it when it's dirty and they dont feel like washing it
- When they dont feel like styling it
- When they dont want people to comment about it
- Because hats are stylish
- Because girls will take them and wear them
