what are the chances of having an infection if I would get my nose pierced while I'm 8 months pregnant? Has anyone done this? Since the baby is practically developed their would be a lower chance of him/her getting an infection, right?

I wouldn't do that. Wait until after the baby is born. You don't have much longer to go and risking it now would be plain stupid. The chances of getting infection depend on many factors and no one can really answer that. Your nose will be there after the baby is born. I higly suggest waiting..after all there are still things that can happen to your unborn baby that can affect them for the rest of their life.

Please wait. I really hope you are just jokiing with this post.

a) there's nothing more unattractive than an 8 month pregnant lady getting her nose pierced.
b) WHY would you do ANYTHING to jeopardize the baby at this stage??
c) Your baby is prone to all kinds of infections. Nose piercing can subject your fetus to a bacterial infection that may be impossible to treat, akin to eating foods such as sushi, etc. You may not have any symptoms, but your child can get very sick and die, even at 8 months. As my doctor told me when I was pregnant, "You wouldn't like what we'd have to do to treat the infection."
d) You can get your nose pierced anytime. Quit being so selfish!!

I don't think the chances of an infection are any less or greater during pregnancy but would it really hurt that much to wait another month? I promise your nose will still be there.

that crack head answer was extreamly ignorant and rude. I also want to get my nose done after my child is born something tiny but cute, i am 9 months and going as soon as baby is born. I would wait though because chances are low something could happen there is still that chance. Just wait, make it a "i just had a baby" present to yourself.

i would say that is up to you. i have my nose pierced, and it didnt get infected, just leave the nose screw in and make sure to keep it clean with sea salt, which they should give you, and you should be fine. but that is a decision you will have to make, i honestly dont think it would be a problem, and i understand the not waiting part, cause once youve decided, you want to get it done asap!!

It would be pretty cool to pierce your nose...I think you should do it. Also, it would be equally awesome to shoot up some heroin afterwards in your determined effort to be a crack-head mommy.

I think that is just a dumb *** question, shouldn't you be worrying more about what the baby needs, instead of worrying about having something in your nose, ah duh
