No offense folks, but some of the answers so far are just weird.
Didn't any of you pay attention in Earth Science? Sheesh!!
O.K., cheer4cow, listen up. Get your head off the desk!
deposition - is depositing sediment (so, not any kind of erosion)
plucking - is when a glacier plucks up material as it moves (like a large snowball being shoved across a lawn, it would pick up chunks of dirt and grass)
glaciation - snow piling up faster than it can melt and forming glaciers
That leaves you with deflation.
Deflation is when wind blows strongly enough to remove lighter sediments, and leaves the larger things behind. Eventually, the light stuff in front and on the sides of the large stuff gets removed to the point that the large stuff actually sinks a little.
Think of when you stand on the shoreline at the beach. Each wave scoops little bits of sand out from around your feet until you feel like you are sinking. Wind can do the same thing, over time.

Chameleon's answer is correct as far as it goes. Abrasion is another answer (not in the list, I know). Wind blows small particles along, and where they hit other particles a small pit may be left behind, from the action of abrasion (like sandpapering). Abrasion can, in fact, cause sand grains to have a frosted appearance, like frosted glass (so can tiny clay crystals adhering to the sand grains). Finally, and "nerdily speaking" the term glaciation can also refer to the process by which cloudtops freeze and are converted to ice crystals.

None of your possible answers describes wind erosion. "Nuthouse" is nuts! C & D are related, deposition is post-erosional action of material resettling, and deflation is an econmic phenonemon.

I'd go with plucking. the wind plucks bits of sand from the sea shore and carries it off.
