I know it's trite, but it's true- two wrongs DON'T make a right. It never works out that way. The person who cheats to get back at a spouse just ends up feeling worse. I would not be happy if my spouse went on an online dating site. It means there's trouble in your marriage- get it figured out- before there are kids!

Absolutely. The first question i would ask her is" why?" What is missing from your marriage? Is it something you did or said that pushed her to act this way? Are you not home much, to spend time with her? Have you been gallivanting with buddies alot? Did you ever hear the song most people refer to as the PINA COLADA song? Maybe she has some interests that you like as well, but never told each other? PART 2... I would never cheat on a g/f or wife no matter what she has done. Getting even just leads to hate and possibly a messy divorce, God forbid it comes to that. I, personally would never forgive my g/f or wife if she cheated on me. If she were to go out with friends from work, that is acceptable, as long as it is not a one-on-one with a man or some weird kinky thing with many men. I've always asked myself, if my g/f or wife were to go somewhere with her girl AND guy friends, why did she not invite me? Is she embarrassed or ashamed of me? I surely hope not. So to sum up my advice...ask her why she did this and find out if it will continue. If she says yes, I think it is time for marriage counseling or simply a divorce. I hope it is not the latter, but find out the reasons and act upon that information in a positive move.

Have you any idea why she doing online dating? Is there any issues with your marriage? Have a heart-to-heart talk with her and find out why she's doing online dating. Cheating just to get even is suicidal thus I would advise against. Show her your compassionate side. Try to understand her and truth will tell. Perhaps she isn't happy with the marriage, perhaps she's troubled and didn't want you to worry too much. Work things out and I'm convinced it'll be back to normal soon. Take care.

A problem? Actually, no. I WOULD get divorced, though. I already lived with a cheating spouse, and would never try making a marriage work while dealing with cheating again.

What kind of question is that??? If my fiancee would do that to me either i would show her the door or i would walk out the door. There is no way in hell I would put up with that kind of crap. I wouldnt cheat on her, because two wrongs dont make a right. As for a divorce, that would be the first thing on my to do list tommorow.

As far as I am concerned, you don't even have to be married, just have a significant other, you should never ever cheat on them period. Being on the Internet, chats, emails and talking to another with out your significant knowing about it is cheating. Having some one call you on your cell phone and not letting them no about it is cheating. You do not have to have sex with a person to be cheating on them. Any communication with another with out your significant other knowing about it is cheating.

I would not cheat on that person to get "even" with them, that just makes matters worse. If she/you wants to try and make a go of the relationship then go for trying. If not it is divorce time. But no more chatting at all. If you was to cheat to get even, you are going to have to live with the guilt as well, plus you will want to be able to say that YOU never cheated on her when you confront her or when you go to court.

Online dating is cheating whether male or female doing it. If I caught my husband looking for love online I would leave him. And I do have kids.

Yes I would leave especially if their were no kids the situation always gets worse whether they cheat again or not they will always have less respect for you then deserve. And even if it were internet cheating they are still investing their emotions and feelings into something else.

It's still cheating remember cheating starts in the heart and mind. we humans let our environment dictate our thoughts that leads to feelings then of course actions. she seems to be in the later stage she is cheating. As for a divorce. that would be your call. if she can't be trusted. then there is no foundation for a marriage

Yes it is a probem, women do those things because they like it! And it's no different than a guy going out with his friends and hitting on other chicks. I think you should tell her that if she doesn't stop, you're going to cheat on her. And if she still won't stop, you shoud make her leave. Good luck, man.
