I'm going to tell you how to do this. I totally don't recommend it though. It's set like that for a reason. Active X is a way in for hackers. Here you go.

Tools.. Internet Options.. Security tab.. make sure Internet is highlighted.. Click on custom level. You'll see all the active X controls.
Third one down. Download signed active X controls. Enable that..

Therefore, you would also have to allow the user to have sufficient rights on their PC to install a plug-in and download items from the Internet. A good example of this is Shockwave technology."
