do you think the smoking ban coming into force in england will include house of commons and lords.what about the mp's perks.

i meant they have a bar. a pub has a bar and its banned there does that make sense.they are not practising what they are preaching.

well do they do their laws like we do here in the US..you know ,,DO AS I SAY ,NOT AS I DO,,,they are banning smoking every where here !!!!!!!!!!!! I've smoked for 50 yrs.,,ride my bike at least 20 miles a day,,@ 4-5 min.a mile...what's the problem???

The Palace of Westminster is classed as a public place, so I guess the members can sit there and puff away all day if they want to. This non-smoking regulation has not been handled as well as it could have been. There is still much confusion about public/private and work-place regulations.

doubt it will include the house of lords / commons. these are public spaces.
