Do you have a basement? There are thunderstorm warnings for much of the area back there. My mom lived in Guildford for awhile. It's unusual, but this front is pushing warm air ahead than real cold. Someone phrased a question yesterday about the temperature going down 40 degrees in 4 or 6 hours.
Watch your weather channel or Yahoo weather. There should be a radar map or further information if a tornado actually forms

Do you have a cellar? And a local weather channel with radar? Look on google for a weatherunderground or other doppler weather radar system in your area. Get your flashlights, make sure you know where everyone is. If you have a cellphone keep it with you. If you have a cellar be ready to evacuate to it, otherwise a central room on the first floor like a bathroom that has plum, bing fixtures you can hang onto. One of the big problems with tornados is the injuries from flying debris and dirt that people inhale into their lungs. Hopefully any tornadoes in that region are typically small and short lived.

Is your house on blocks? If so, GTFO. If it's built on a slab, go sit in the tub. IF it's an older house, anyway. That's what they used to tell us. You might open a window or two so the pressure doesn't suck 'em out of their frames. Hmm. Tell ya what...if you hear something that sounds like a freight train (by then, it'll be too late to go anywhere), pray to your almighty god that he doesn't suck your house up into the upper stratosphere.
