My son is 5 months old, actually he just turned 5 months on 11-27 and he has no desire to turn over. He has only turned over twice. I want to know if anyone elses child disliked being on his stomach and what ages did your baby start rolling over on his own?

My daughter hated being on her stomach!! At about 6-7 months when she learned that she could go places while on her belly did she start rolling and then crawling. Enjoy the peace now becasue whe they are moble you really have to watch them. Then they pull themselves up on stuff and the they walk. Just enjoy the peace and get ready for him to go moble. She went from lying on her back all the time to crawling in like 4-6 weeks. It seems like a long periiod for that but think back that far and it seems just like yesterday.

Good luck.

My 9 month old daughter is trying to walk away from everything now. she gets into everything and is just a smart ***. You tell her NO and she tells you no.

Good Luck

My daughter hated being on her stomach, she didn't have a lot of belly time, usually she was in her bouncy seat. then i started putting her on the floor cuz i realized she was never going to learn if i didn't let her.....he needs belly time even though he dosen't like it so he can learn to roll over......when i put my duaghter on the floor i would sit with her and lay on my belly with her to encourage her.....she did much better when i would do this. she didn't like just being left there to do it all alone......i think she rolled over at 5 or 6 months....if your son dosen't like it get on the floor with him and talk to him play with him and show him how to roll over......they need the belly time to learn how to roll over and lift themselves up and eventually crawl......don't worry he will learn soon.

My son hated being on his stomach. Your son will roll over when he's ready. Keep encouraging him and don't be too concerned.

two of nieces never rolled over inspite of prompting and encouraging them to.

I would recommend keeping his favorite musical toy on the side and prompt him to reach it.

Infants being on their stomachs isn't a good thing, so I guess this is fine.
