I feel tired everyday, no matter how long I sleep and find my concentration is dwindling at school. I have physical aches and feel down at times but quite ok other times. Is there something wrong with me or should I just sleep earlier for better rest? I'd like to talk to someone but don't know where to ask because my 'rents don't think its anything. But I feel different than I have, deep inside I think something may be wrong.

I would suggest talking with your school nurse. There is a possibility that you have ADD, sleep problems, nutritional deficencies or clinical depression. If you don't have a school nurse, talk to a counselor or your family doctor.

It is true that is could be nothing, but what is important is that you listen to your body and explore possibilities just in case.

Hi there, you know I felt the same way, I'm a cancer survivor and after the cancer mess was cleaned up, I started having major tiredness, ached all the time, depressed, and I wondered if the cancer was back, it wasn't. I talked to the dr, he prescribed blood work and found I was anemic and had thyroid problems, which is what I would suggest in your case, go in for a physical, tell the doc your symptoms and he probably will do a blood test. Both anemia and thyroid problems require medications, anemia can be caused from menstration so if you have periods, that could be a reason and thyroid can happen any age. I would suggest a physical to see what's up, and don't worry you'll be fine.

It doesn't matter how long u sleep, what matters is how deep u sleep.I thing U r not doing any workout , like jogging ,walking or other kind of exercises. For physical aches u need calcium supplement which u can take after consulting Ur family doctor.

go to your school counselor who is committed to keeping all things confidential unless you or someone is hurting you, then they tell. But they can help you out and give you the resources to get checked-out. Think that you are pregnant, get one of your Friends to take you to the dollar tree the sell test for dollar then you can really see. think you have a STD then your counselor is the best person to talk to.

well first of all are you sexually active.....b/c the tiredness is a sign of pregnancy.....and if you have trouble concentrating at school maybe its just ADD or something.....dont stress yourself out about it...talk to someone you trust or ask you parents to take you to the doctor.. you may also have an anxiety disorder.....if you have lots of stress in your life this may be the problem....good luck!!

Sounds like depression. You really should see a counselor. Hopefully there is one at the school you attend. He/she can let your parents know what is going on if you'd like. This is very serious. Please talk to someone...
