A suicide attempt is considered a mental health issue not law enforcement, unless the person endangers another person in the attempt!! If a firearm is used a charge of reckless discharge of a firearm can be charged!!

not necessarily a crime, but they can take the person into custedy and put them in a mental health center for help.
