I believe a special commission would have to determine that.
The full breadth of the crimes will be a challenge to 'prove' in court. How can we get more people to see what they are afraid to see.

Life in Prison, no parole. The Maximum sentence under current international sentencing guidelines.
Yo it's me, the war in Iraq was not sanctioned by the UN security council. Even if it was, the handling of the war would still leave plenty of room to allow for charges of war crimes.

The U.N. Security Council sanctioned it, so no grounds for war crimes, plus we have not violated any ICRC rules.

For one killing, people have been given life sentences and death. Killing 3000 of our best soldiers for no reason. Causing genocide of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis, who did no harm to Bush or America. A reasonable sentence is not even imaginable.

His punishment should be that he gets sentenced to stare at a picture of a cat in a bathing suit, stepping out of a swimming pool. If I had to stare at that picture day in and day out, it would drive me crazy.

In that remote scenario maybe he should go to a place that in his opinion doesn't violate any international standarts/human rights
Guantanamo.
However... that won't happen... People probably won't realize how damaging his actions have been for another 50-100 years.
