I dreamed that my sister was drowning in a huge pool, and I couldn't swim deep enough to save her. She was shouting instructions on how to help her. She is 4 years younger than I am. She was recently divorced and has 3 teenagers. I am single, and I live 2,200 miles from her. We are among 10 siblings. Anyone got any ideas?

if you read your question you will find the answer. yours is a dream that mirrors what is really going on in your life. i know your sister is not really in a pond drowning but she is in up to her neck in a situation that you can not be there to help her deal with and you feel frustrated that you can't reach her. growing up in a family that size meant you had to help take care of your siblings and the responsibility you feel is still there. the only thing that is bothering me is, you say she is telling you how to help her. has she asked you to do something that you don't feel that you can do? or maybe you feel like you know what she needs from you but you don't want to get into the pond with her? ---you don't really want to be responsible for her? i don't know but i see something like that.

Basically, you are having some confidence issues. Projecting your sister being drown and needing your help is showing you that you actually are in need of confidence booster. However, there is so much you can do. Subconsciously you want to show people what you are capable of, but you just need some support in terms of self esteem. In reality, since you have 10 siblings, being one of them may be neglected somehow. That is why you vent this out in dreams

She seems as tho shes asking for ur help but u dont kno exactly what to say to her or it could be that shes drowning deeper and deeper into her misery and she really needs ur help but ur so far from her that u cant help her. In other words, ur sister needs u to be there with her while shes going through that.

i think it says she has a problem but wont tell you unless you do some investigating or ask her and if thats not it call more often, move closer, or both.
