I need lots of answers...i stopped my bc about 11 days ago and i started my period 2 days after...it lasted for about 4 days. me and my husband had sex many times figuring if its god's will in the short time period i had to get pregnant then it'd happen. i took one pill 5 days ago and today I had extremely light bleeding off and on then it got heavier but not bad enough to get on clothes. i wasn't sure if it was caused by taking that one pill or if its implantation bleeding? i have been cramping pretty bad and my stomach is tender. i've never had sore boobs so i couldn't use that as a reference. i just don't want to start my bc pills again until i figure it out and any answers would be extremely helpful.

I have been really bloated too...and i only took the one pill for just that one day..is that really enough to make me have another period when i didn't take it again?

I think it is just spotting. I had a period, then started a new pack of BC pills. I stopped the BC pills after about 7 days, then 4 days following that I had another period, and no I've been fine ever since, and I'm TTC.

Basically, I think that if you want to have a baby you should just stop taking your BC pills altogether. While some women can get pregnant their first month off of the pills, it takes several months for many women to conceive.

If you want to conceive, get serious about it, and stay off of your BC pills completely. It will take a month or two to get your body back on track and having regular cycles. Until then, spotting is common. If it helps, since the period I had immediately after stopping the pill, I have had no spotting, and my body is already pretty much regulated.

Good luck.

Im having the same problem, TTC and everytime I stop the pill I have break through bleeding and it is driving me crazy. If I take the pills again I will stop but this isnt helping since I want to get pregnant. I dont want to have sex while Im bleeding so I take the pill to stop it but how am I going to get pregnant with the pills in my system. I would say it is the pills and we are going to just accept it until the pill is out of our body. I believe it is the drop hormones that cause the break through bleeding. I had every sign u had so Im pretty sure its your pills. Good luck!
