No I am not surprized myself. 20 yrs old and she's already made a big mess out of her life. I find it a kinda sad.

It not about her mom controlling anything.
I believe her mom is having problems of her own.
lindsay is an adult now, and whats more she has alot of her own money,
Im not saying she's uncontrolable, but if she doesnt want to hear anything from her mom she doesnt have to. Trust.
She is an adult, and she HAS to be able to take care of herself. She seems like and anamoly(sp?) to me. Her dad's in jail, her mom's in court, and she still is as famous as she is.
most kids would just end up broken.

I am suprised. I would have figured she'd be in a clinic for eating disorders before she ended up in AA.
