before i go to a doctor and get a blood test i just wanted to know what you think is going on.

i tend to have my period at the end of the month and i'm about to be a week late with my period in around 2-3 days. the most sign i've seen of my period was a VERY ligh spotting of my period that i only saw once. i haven't had any cramps or any other type of symptoms.

i had sex during the week that i was suppose to have a period and didn't use a condom but we used the "pull-out" method. don't give me a talk about not using a condom and blah blah. because if i'm pregnant that's not a problem

another thing. i'm waiting around for my period like watching toast pop up to start taking my birth control pills. maybe that's why it won't show up? also i currently lost a job and i'm a bit stressed about it but i don't think it's enough to make a period late. could it?

i took an ept test before my period and when i was suppose to be on my period. both came back "not pregnant"

where is it?

Not that you can rule out pregnancy, but stress will really mess up your cycle. Before I got married I was SO stressed about moving/marriage/the reception, etc that I was CONVINCED we were pregnant. I took tests like you wouldn't believe. Turns out I just skipped a month totally because of stress (and I was even on the pill at the time).
Bottom line is that if you are stressing about possibly being pregnant on top of everything else, you're adding to things without meaning to. I would just get a blood test to know defiintively. It'll make you feel better and you can check that one thing off your list of stressors. Good luck to you!

STRESS. that plus wondering if you are pregnant, these things combined can keep you from having your period, I have done this perpetually through the years.

the general call is wait 2 wks(or when your period is 2wks late) then test. I would say you are probably not pregnant. We use that same method, plus avoid any type of fluid contact on my days of ovulation.

maybe download a ovulation calendar to help you better know your safe days? it will also help you keep track of your periods and will be a big help when the time comes that you WANT to concieve. I had used FEMTA myself, but its only a 3 month trial for free.

Good luck to you

You say you spotted, if so then I would say you are probably pregnant, that is what happens to me, I bleed the first day, then spot and I know I am pregnant(have 4 kids). I make myself wait the two weeks and I have always used home pregnancy tests, even the cheap dollar store ones and not once have they ever lied unless you don't wait that 2 weeks. Good Luck

Chance of being pregnant ? Yes
Likely to be pregnant ? No
I'd take another ept in a few days before I spent $ on a doctor.

You know what they call people who rely on the man to "pull out" as their form of birth control ? Parents.
