The playstation portable is very true to its name it's a hand-held game system by sony. It plays vidoegames, videos, music, and views photo. It also has a web browser and rss feed along with other options as more updatesbecome available. It also has the ability to play bootleg games and run emulators of ps1 gba and other older systems.

WHAT DOES IT DO!!!
I'll tell ya what it does. First the obivous...it plays music, videos, games and it stores photos. And you can get on the internet. But... there are also some AWSOME ways to trick yours out. For example, I just bought this awsome camera that you put on the top of your PSP and you can take pictures and videos and crap. Of course its only availible in JAPAN but you can just buy it on ebay. ITS A WHOLE lot better than any Ipod. If you are considering buying a PSP, I beg you, make the right choice and BUY IT!!!! (i know i seem a little too enthusiastic about it but it's THAT awsome)

It basically is a smaller or portable version of the full size PS2. It competes with Gameboy
