She retired to pursue an acting and singing career. She is not married to Edge. She did date Matt Hardy for a while but then she cheated on him with the married Edge. That lead to Matt Hardy being fired and the Lita ho chants. Amy Dumas is not married.

I think she got tired of the wrestling seen. Plus her WWE contract was up. She isn't or ever was married (in real life). As a storyline she was married to Kane. In real life she did date Matt Hardy and Edge.
