Get a candle, some matches, and a battery operated radio and a flashlight.
Go to the basemetn away from any windows and NOT underneath any heavy furniture (floors above you).
If you dont have a basement, go to an interior room (that's a room without windows closest to the center of the home-usually the bathroom OR a hallway).
Good luck, god bless kid.

Just don't stand next to the windows. If they say its a warning then try to find a room in the middle of the house that has no windows or a basement and stay near it or if you feel better go to it. Like in my house I have a closet that is a walk in and it is in the center of the house so I would go there. Bring a battery operated radio and a flashlight so you arent in the dark and I would get off the computer soon bec lightning isnt good for the computer lol. Stay calm I know CT doesnt get many of these I know I am in NJ and we have had watches off and on. I used to live in WI. :)

stay away from the windows and hold onto something or someone tight so you don't get sucked out of the place if a tornado does hit

Stay inside with a radio on the emergency channel. Stay away from windows or anything that may harm you. Stay warm and dry if possible. Good luck to you.

Hang tight.
We had the same warnings earlier today in Ohio, and it was windy, but as far as I know the worst of it was heavy snow in the snowbelt regions.
