Depends on what you mean. All women have a certain amount of smell, or "flora", which is natural. For some reason, lots of girls find it unpleasant and do all kinds of unhealthy things like douching. But if you think the odor is particularly bad...extremely strong, smells like fish...it could be a sign of infection, like bacterial vaginosis (BV). That needs to be treated by a doctor or clinic with medication. Oh, and by the way, don't douche or use soap in your vagina. You'll mess up the ph balance and really cause an infection then.

ok if your talking about normal vaginal odor just showering or bathing daily will help. but if your talking bout a strong vaginal odor then its probly a bacterial infection and you will need an antibiotic to get rid of it and to who ever tells you to douch dont i use to and i kept getting bacterial infections and my dr, said that douching washes away the good bacteria that helps fight off the bad bacteria and it flushes bad bacteria in the cervix and to your reproductive parts and if you want here is a link that has proof if you need it. but the only time i ever got a bacterial infection was when i douched and lol talk about a funcky smelling odor it was like a fishy smell. but stopped douching never had one sence. hope i helped oh and douch only covers vagianal odor dont get rid of the smell

1. Wash regularly
2. Use baby wipes or personal wipes each time you go to
bathroom
3. Wear pantiliners
4. Don't douche; it is dangerous
Remember that the area does not smell like perfume. The people that tell you that you must have an infection if if smells bad are wrong. It just naturally smells pretty bad.

To be perfectly honest with you, if have been sexually active, go and get checked by a doctor for a possible sexually transmitted disease. It is, unfortunately, the first thing that a doctor will suspect with vaginal odor. Best of luck to you.

Shower or bathe regularly. If that doesn't work go to the drug store. There is a whole plethora of products available for feminine hygiene.

See a doctor. If your vagina smells funky, it's probably because of an infection!
