how would one know if a man is cheating or has cheated?

Do you trust this person? Have you asked them? Are they acting strange? Does he flirt around? If you don't trust him then you've got more problems then just wondering if he's cheating. By the way, I've never cheated and I'm a man.

My Ex Wife cheated on me. The signs were not as obvious as people say they are. We went to church, shared activities outside of the home, and have two great children. She just wanted more. For example, Buying new things all of the time.
This is a way for person to make themselves feel better. Who doesnt feel better when they spend money on themselves. I cant say whether or not men and women do it differently, but I will tell you what I would probably do if I was going to. Keep in mind I would never cheat on a spouse. Biblical beliefs.
First, Does he have a secret e-mail that you dont know or one that has a security code that denies you access. This was a good sign for me. Does your email and web browser always get deleted so you cant see where he has been? Also, Does he go out a lot without you? Does his cell phone always go directly to voice mail when you call him? Does he shower before he comes home? Be careful on that one if he hs a gym membership. Does he pay attention to ALL of your needs, or just the ones that satisfy him? So many questions, but the most important question you have already answered. YOu would not have asked if you did not already suspect hi. Search you heart.

OK forget all the other answers, if you want to know you must look at him straight in the eyes and say did you cheat, if he elaborates his answer or blinks while answering, then he is cheating, i heared this from a poll that said that 70% of people blink more when they are lieing or cheating

He would start acting secretive, but become very cheerfull (but not necessarily around you) . . . like when you first fall in love with someone. If you have been with him for awhile and then notice a change in his behavior or attitude, then most likely he is cheating. He may cope in attitude of "hatefull feelings" towards you.

You know! Actions, like using cologne again after NOT for ten years. Dressing up more often. Working drastically more hours, but having less money. Severe money problems. Well if you have kids, he will try to compensate to them by buying them things, or even you. He will treat you differently and may even treat you badly. He will change the the tables on you and will make you believe you're the one that's causing trouble in the house, and will be out of the house late night, will make up many excuses.
