Me and my husband have one vehicle between us and most days I stay home and let him take the car to work , well today there was absolutely no way I could drive because we had a bad snow storm, and I asked my husband to stop by the store when he got off work to pick up a few things for dinner, and he said no....everytime I ask him to go to the grocery store he gets upset or if I need him to stop after I pick him up from work to run in and get something he gets frustrated...and ask why I didn't do it before he got off work...Do all men hate the grocery store?

I am not sure its the grocery store that he hates going to, I think he might not want to go to any store. My husband and I used to go grocery shopping before we got married, and now, he doesn't go to the store, he gets a little irritated if I ask him to go too. So I quit asking him. Its a mystery to me why they don't like it. Maybe laziness? Maybe it's the crowd of people or standing in line? I doubt all men hate the stores, but I think most of them.

My husband does about half of the grocery shopping. I do the big shopping but he picks up the other stuff as we need it. It is harder for me to take 4 kids to the store than it is for him to run in. He always asks if I need anything and never complains about going....even if I want something at night he will go with out a problem. Guess I am luckier than I thought. Good luck with yours- that seems a little selfish of him.

me don't mind going to the store. we do mind going to the store with WOMEN. It is excruciating! If my wife tell me she needs to got to walmart, or the mall. no way am i going with her!
Let me explain why: when us men go to a store, we know what we want. we find it, we grab it, then we get the hell out of there. the whole ordeal is done in minutes. then we get back to the car and beam with pride on how fast we got the job done..My wife on the other hand can spend HOURS in a store. She has the need to pick up EVERYTHING she passes, look at it, study it, examine it for 30 seconds, put it back down, walk five feet, find another item and repeat the process. I'm standing behind her losing my fricken mind!!
I learned early shopping with her is a no no!

Your husband is a jerk! If you only have one automobile and he has it 99.9% of the time then he shouldn't complain about stopping at the grocery store. How are you going to go when he has the car?!?!

That's because he's a cold hearted bastard.

I like going grocery shopping since I'm usually the one that cooks. So, I know exactly what I want to get.
