You need to measure yourself, or go for a bra fitting at a lingerie store, or up-scale deparment store. Or, Check out this link, and measure yourself to see what it says.

http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/SolutionStart.aspx?DeptID=597&PCatID=597&CatID=39516&CatTyp=FEA&Dep=Women%27s&Pcat=Women%27s&Cat=Bra+Solutions&RefPageName=SolutionStart.aspx&RefDeptID=597&RefCatID=39511&cmAMS_T=T8&cmAMS_C=C6&CmCatId=597&SearchRedirect=True

The measuring will be tricky, because a mans breasts are not shaped the same way as a womans. Mans boobs tend to be wider and taller than a womans, so you usually need at least 1 cup size larger than what the measurment says you need.

Of course you can avoid the whole cup issue if you go with a sports bra. These have no cups and are made to fit multiple breast sizes, usually an A to C cup.

Now for the band measurement. This varies even more than the cup measurement, at least for a guy it does. Because our frames are designed differently than a womans.

But in general, a good starting point is to get a back size the same size as your pants. So if you are a 36 waist, then start with a 36 sports bra. If it's to tight then get a 38 or 40. if it is to loose, try a 34.

You can get pretty cheap bras from eBay, so you can get a couple of different sizes and see which one fits best.

Once you get a comfortable fitting sports bra, then you will know your band size, so you can either just stay with the sport bra, or move on to bras with actuall cups.

understand you want to be able to figure out what size bra to wear, but I don't understand if you are a guy asking or a girl. Either way, here is how it is done.
Band Size
1. Holding the measuring tape gently but firmly, measure around your body directly under your bust. Look in a mirror to assure the tape is parallel to the floor. Note: When you take these measurements, round to the closest whole inch, either up or down. (For example, if your measurement is 29 3/8", round to 29". If your measurement is 29 1/2" or more, round to 30".)
2. If the rounded measurement you come up with is an even number, add 4 inches. If the rounded measurement you come up with is an odd number, add 5 inches.
3. The result is your band size.
Example: 33" + 5" = 38" band size

Cup Size
4. Standing straight, with your arms at your side, measure around your body at the fullest part of your bust. Wrap the tape measure around you so that it is just touching, but not binding. Note: Again, look in a mirror to assure the tape is parallel to the floor. Round up or down to the nearest inch as you did to find your band size.
5. Now, subtract your band size measurement from this second measurement. The difference is your cup size (see chart below).
Example: 38" - 34" (band size) = 4" = D cup size

Difference

Standard Cup Size
0"-1/2" (1.3 cm)AA
1/2"- 1" (2.6 cm)A
2" (5.1 cm)B
3" (7.6 cm)C
4" (10.2 cm)D
5" (12.7 cm)DD or E
6" (15.2 cm)DDD or F
7" (17.8 cm)G
8" (20.3 cm)H
9" (22.9 cm)I
10" (25.4 cm)J

Once you get into the D cup sizes and larger, there tends to be a discrepancy among brands as to what to call sizes beyond a D cup.At this point, you may want to try some on for a good fit.
