I have been home for the past month (long story), and I am just so down I can hardly stand it. What do you do when you get this way?

So Lonely I Could Die

Every single minute of my life. I am depressed..some days it makes me suicidal....I feel alone and unloved. I feel all I do is take up space and that nobody would miss me if I were gone..I actually think they would throw a "yeah, she's finally gone" party. I think everyone feels like this sooner or later. I am not sure what has happened in the lst month to cause it.. It could be situational depressional..since it's the holidays it could be seasonal depression..if it continues, I would definately see a therapist...Some people struggle with the weather change and through the holidays..I struggle because being with my family literally depresses me the way they treat me...GL and remember you are not alone.

Being lonely will definitely make one feel this way. Most of the time I will do something to make me sleep and other than that one will need to socialize or talk to someone, go to a movie, get interesred in playing some games on the internet or elsewhere. Being lonely brings on stress and unwanted health problems.

I actually like being alone, but being alone in my thoughts is a different thing altogether. Sometimes life is hard, we just have to know that it is like a roller coaster--lots of ups and downs, and unpredictable turns. I like to walk on the beach when I need to think, for some reason that is my calming place. Hope that helps you, good luck-- :)

Yeah! But I get out and see people.Watch TV get on the computer. Call a friend on the phone. It's when you are sitting still that you start to think deep and serious thoughts and that can bring on depression.Make yourself get busy.

You must keep yourself occupied and motivated. Go out to social clubs and meet new friends, join anything of interest to you, but don't give up. Life is so short. Enjoy your life and your bordom will slowly go.
