Do you know how to bend free kicks in Fifa 06?

for a driect free kick you need to measure the loft and spin on the ball. the left joystick will help pin point where your are aiming on the goal. the right joystick directs the movement on the ball. depending on the kick takers foot push the joy stick to the opposite side. ( push left for righties and right for lefties) the more you push to either side the more spin on the ball. you can also measure where on the ball you want to kick it. aim low on the ball for a more lofted shot and higher for a lower shot. another thing you can do is have another player play the ball to you foot. hit the right trigger I beleive and another player will bascially tee it up for you. this is effective against larger walls becasue the ball is a moving target for them to block. and last but not least the power of the shot matters. hit it inthe green power bar and it will be accurate. if not it will go somewhere else. good luck.

I only know for gamecube... If you do get a direct free kick, you wanna loft the ball over the defenders by holding the joystick slightly up. You don't want a SUPER powerful shot or it will go over the net for sure. To curve the ball, tilt the c stick (or secondary joystick) in the direction you want the ball to spin. Don't get your hopes up though. It's not too often you score off a direct free kick.
