I HAVE AN ABIT KNG SLi MOTHERBOARD
IT HAS ONE PORT FOR THE FLOPPY AND ONE IDE
THE THE HARD DRIVE IS HOOKED UP TO THE ONE IDE
AND THE SLAVE PART WILL NOT REACH EITHER OF THE CD DRIVES, THE HARD DRIVE HAS NO SATA HOOKUPS

go to a computer store and buy a double (two IDE conectors on it make sure that the is 80/40 pin cable they come in 18" and 20" lenths cost around $5
what is your computer box? tower or destop

go to the local repair shop or best buy compusa ect and get some longer cables

get a double port lead and just plug it in!
