You are right, everything is a chemical reaction, but thats not all it is. Everything has an origin and fits into a sort of grand equation. We are the only beings on this earth to recognize beauty, to laugh, to cry, to feel longing, and hate. Everything needs a foundation to exist, and just because my feet are the closest thing to the earth, doesnt mean my face will not see the heavens.

You confuse two levels of analysis/ causation; the ultimate and the proximate. Even if, as you say, we are just chemical reaction, how does that effect the day to day operation of love, hate, ideas, etc.. For example of the ultimate/proximate confusion, this; we are compelled to have and hold children, by genetic instruction, ultimately, but that does not lessen the proximate love that most of us feel for our children in the here and now.

To a point that is correct. There are exceptions to different things. I'm not worried about it cause I live my life to the fullest. I agree with the lady above, I don't want to be a rock. So let the chemmies rock and roll!

Chemical is too broad. Electromagnetic would be more like it.
Not really a bothersome thought. If it works, it works. But nothing's perfect except for that which is perfect.

There was a saying once that we are profound in spite of ourselves, for we are the universe .... trying to figure itself out.

Well...you ask how the magic trick works, you get the results of maybe losing that fascination with the trick. If you gotta know, you gotta know.
