I ran out of his old food, which were pellets, and i went to the store but i couldn't find the right brand so i bought a new type and he won't eat it. What should i do?

ahh ive had this problem as well
betta fish can be picky eaters...wwell if a betta fish doesnt eat for 2 or 3 days its not going to kill him..so you dont have to worry about him starving..he will def eat even if he doesnt want to because he will be hungry...But try again 2morrow... try the new food again and see if he eats it..if not try to get the regular food...

Put another betta in with him...they will eat that one ;)

Try again tomorrow, if he doesn't eat you have to try to find the old kind...I think he'll be ok..

Try and find the same... I had 1 and its died soon after changing it food......

That's normal. Keep offering them, he won't let himself starve.

You can also offer bloodworms. Bettas love them. (Frozen or freeze-dried)
