What is Ghost err.txt. I bought new hard drive and in the middle of loading operating system?

a window pops up ghosterr.txt file can't be read. Any suggestion would be very helpful.

Ghost err.txt is one of the files for Norton Ghost, a popular disk imaging software. Either you have something keeping your PC from reading the file (smudge etc) or the image CD itself is bad.

If you have another PC available. you could copying the entire CD to that second computer, and then burn the files back to a new CD.

check to make sure there aer no smudges or scratches on the disc i am assuming this was a disc provided with the pc with a ghost image on it as the error appears to suggest that
