I'd probably invest it in mutual funds and continue to work and look forward to retiring.

Actually, a million dollars is not what it used to be. The first thing I'd do is put the money in a short term CD, see what the tax implications of my windfall are, and then SLOWLY consider what I might like to do with the money. I know it's dull, but Dull is my middle name.

I would start a community like they one in the book of Acts. I would buy the land and ask others to join the community and to have all things in common and live just as the first christians, waiting on God for the Holy Spirit to fill us and then using the giftings to serve one another and win others to Christ. That's what I would do.

Stick the money in the bank, and live off the interest for the remainder of my days. Investing parts of it here and there, and in the process purchasing a home, seeing to the needs of people that I cared about, and travelling the world.

This is a very challenging question. I would donate 10% right off the bat to my church. Assist my parents and in-laws with any outstanding fincancial commitments. Set up accounts for everyone in my family, including myself, for the future.

buy my own apartment, take a course, spend some on my family/ friends & donate the rest...(maybe buy gifts for the under-privileged during x'mas)

One million what? If I win one million rabid dogs, I will probably not pick up the prize. If I win one million feet of toilet paper, I will probably accept it and share it with my close friends. If I win one million pennies, I will have a hard time lugging them to a bank....
If I win one million dollars.... ah, I dunno....
