I think these days it's more likely the Animal is already dead.
When they do test on humans, then humans protest because they get problems.
What is the difference between Humans and Animal testing? The Animal can only cry and already has a life expectancy of 2 months to 20 years (depending on the animal,.. probably shorter then it's expectency if it's been abandoned because it's already weakened and would have gotten ran over a disease without being taken in). The Human can sue,.. has an 80 year life expectancy,.. and is likely 14-24 years old to be wasteing their time takeing part in these... or they have a really bad doctor like I did.
I do want to point out one problem with Animal testing the Testers over look,.. the Animals get a different reaction then a Human Being. Then on top of that each Human has a different reaction.

It is ridiculous that it is still done. I will only buy products that are not tested on animals and I think that many others are the same way. The fact that so many companies no longer test on animals makes you think that it probably isn't necessary anymore.
P.S. A great company that uses natural ingredients and doesn't test on animals is Burt's Bees. It is a little more expensive but they are high quality products that I suggest everyone try.

Unfortunately, people only think about money, not the effects on animals... but alot of times the animals that end up in scientific labs have a better life being shampooed once a week as opposed to some of the places they come from...

People are tragically greedy creatures. they are selfish enough to play with lives that are not their own for their own benefit. It is a good thing if you can't see the point. This means you are among the relatively small portion of people who can see the value in every life even if it isnt human.

I truly hate the idea of animal testing, to me it is cruel and inhumane. If we would do something to harm one of our animal it is animal abuse but when they do it, it is called science.............hummmmmmmmmmmmmm just think about it
