I'd have to say no. Mostly because not everything on earth is made of those five elements. You've forgotten a key element - air.

However, I'd also say that that would still not be true because basically our Earth is only made of chemicals and all the elements than anyone will ever mention is just chemicals and true Elements ... or I guess it could be a reaction between Elements because fire is simply a combustion reaction between Carbon Dioxide and Hydrogen dioxide (water). Everything else is simply arrangement of protons and atoms and elements and such.

So I guess you could say the univers is made of elements in general, but not those five specific elements.

It sounds like you're saying the five elements the chinese believe in. I could be wrong on the nationality, or maybe the chinese believed the fifth was lightning... No, I think it was fire. Not entirely sure on the nationality, but like the "four elements" of earth, air, fire and water, there was a place that had five.

No. It's made of a bunch of chemical elements, some of which we don't know yet. (My friend says the elements are earth, air, water, fire, spirit and a bunch of other I can't remenber.) I can tell you I have reason to doubt you'll find any of the elements you listed in space.

Appropriately, you've posted this question under mythology and folklore...which is exactly what it is...although, not entirely... it's more that this is an extremely simplistic view of the universe. We now know infinitely more about what makes up the universe.
