between a tras-sexual and a tras-vestite (i think I spelled that wrong!)
Please advise.

I think a transexual is someone who believes they are another sex than the one they were born as and may be in the parocess or have changed their sex ual anatomy or looks to become tha opposite sex.
A transvestite is someone that enjoys dressing and masquerading as the opposite sex. Not actually changing their sex just dressing and maybe preforming as the opposite sex. i think this is right.

The Transvestite is dressing like the opposite sex the Transexual actually had the change done

Transexual is a person who dresses like the opposite sex. A transvistite has had their original body parts changed to the parts of the opposite sex.

A transvestite dresses like a woman. A transsexual has had surgery to make him a woman (or at least part of the way).

There is no difference. Transvestite is the noun.
