I believe that yes, God does give you painful lessons in life just to see how we are going to resolved them, my thoughts always go back to when they murdered my Grandson two yrs and seven mos. ago, our world came crashing down for all the family members, and it was harder for us, his grandparents. In my grief I lashed out at God blaming him for not protecting our grandson, but,by the passing of time I came to realize that there comes a time that we,need God's guidance to keep on living until he calls us home to be with our grandson, and appreciate the life he lent to us to see how we were going to live it. Thank you for your question. I hope that my answer does conform with what you wanted to know.

It seems sometimes that He does allow things to happen that we cannot bear, the loss of a parent or child. Money trouble or poor health. These things overwhelm us and we wonder how much more we can bear. It is times like this that I find if you call out to God for help somehow we get through all the tough times. I know because I have been in those hard places, several times in my life. God never promised an easy life, He promised to walk through it with you. That makes all the difference in the world.

If you have a problem that you think you can not bear, God expects you to turn the problem over to Him so He can handle it through you. He is the all-seeing, all-knowing God. He is capable of anything. He can control the outcome of the problem if you turn the problem over to Him. Trying to conquer the problem yourself without God's help can lead you in the wrong way. God created us with our own free will. It is up to us to let God handle these problems instead of us. He knows alot more, He has a better view than we do of the over-all picture.

What good would a he-god be that hands you a problem? Or hands you a meal ticket? Or an uncontrollably itching bottom? Like some capricious Santa Claus handing out treats and bombshells.
It's your problem, you already have the solution, you are capable of finding it. See it as a gift and unwrap it very carefully.

God never does that, we all face life based on who and what we are from within, everyday we make choices based on how well we can handle, if we cannot handle it we avoid it, or make a mistake of making a choice without much information in hand, we become depressed, angry, repent, cry, and get lost, but a healthy mind constantly takes up bigger and bigger challenges because he/she had experience dealing with smaller challenges, hence we choose bigger and bigger challenges, winners like challenges, change, and moving ahead, the loosers fall for what others have to say and follow them and lack the spirit, and take up challenges with fear of loosing and when they do fear rules within and they neatly follow what the fear says, This is the difference.
When does God enter the picuture? He gives opportunity to every human being equally because he wants everyone to excell, remember god is never partial, he is very rich and wants humans to be rich like him because the power within the human beings is the power of God, so failure is not meant for beings. Happiness is what God wants for us. ONLY HAPPINESS! God gives us problems because thats the only way he talks to us, in problems we grow, because with problems come wisdom. and wisdom is a godly quality. God wants us to be like him.
So friend have fun with your problems, we choose bigger problems because we know we can handle it, the being chooses its growth only when it acts without fear.

I agree with "the one". You never know what will come tomorow. You may look back and realize that what was a tragedy in the past may have opened up doors that needed to be opened or brought change in your life that was ultimately positive in the long run. Sometimes God works in mysterious ways and teaches us lesssons the hard way so that we remember them.

You obviously have to be pious enough to believe that saying. And once you do, it's all about believing, so no matter what happens you will think you can handle it because you have that much faith in him. and with that kinda thinking you probably can overcome it.

If you are a sceptical person, and you don't believe that saying, then how can you expect yourself to triumph over it.

God created and He's omniscient so He cannot over-estimate you. He tests us and sometimes we fail, but He didn't over-estimate us. It's just like a test in school; sometimes we pass and sometimes we fail.

Life is full of challenges and choices. How you meet them is what makes the difference. It's okay to ask for help!
