My "previous" boss and i did not see eye to eye on anything. I was very good at my customer service job and made the Co. a lot of money! All of the salesmen loved me because i am very good at what i do and i would bring them a lot of business. My boss is the most evilest ***** on earth and has no soul at all!!! I was there for 2 years (i'm 21) and not once have i gone to her office and complained about things or ratted on anyone because they talked to much or they were on their cell phone, or on the internet alot! For the first time EVER, i wrote an email to her (my manager) and our human resources department (Wednesday)explaining to them how i feel that it is unfair that certain people get to talk all day about their personal lifes, not answer any of the phones, and talk **** about people all day, while the other people have to do all the work!! And on Thursday, i get "layed off"! we aren't even slow. She just had no other grounds to fire me on! is there anything i can do legally?

Well really no there is nothing you can do legally. They could have fired you, but then getting unemployment benefits would be more tricky for you. Face it, your laid off. Take the unemployment for a couple months and try to relax a bit and then get out there to get a new job. When you go for your job try to aviod things you didn't like about your last job.
Same thing pretty much happened to me around your age. I complained about my fellow employees and suddenly was "laid off". Since then I have always looked for things that i hate about the workplace. "office politics" is a big game (most of the time unfair).
Here is a little reason why they may have laid you off. Most companys would rather ignore problems then have to deal with them. Your complaint brought problems to their faces and alot of people (ESPECIALLY HUMAN RESOURCES) would rather just fire the complainer than accually do somthing about it. I feel it is a disease in the modern workplace. Anyone who disrupts the flow is out the door regardless if they are accually the best employee or not. So here is a little lesson I learned early on. Never tell on anyone no matter what they are doing!!!! Keep your mouth shut and pretend everything is normal even if it isn't. When your the boss promis yourself that you will can anyone that does these things and thats about all you should do.

There is not a whole lot you can do.You can file a complaint with the HR dept, they will review it but most likely nothing will come of it .Most jobs stipulate that the employer can terminate with or without cause. This is their "out" if they feel there is a need to terminate.

Let me ask you a question,Why would you want to get back into that environment? I work as an independent contractor with a financial company, it's a chance to build and own a business and achieve a 6 figure income and is also out side of the traditional corporate structure, so there are no people in break rooms talking crap about other employees or "I am gonna play around on the Internet to make the time go by" type mentality.
In fact the trouble that you are having is one of the reasons I decided to look for an opportunity rather than just another job.

See what other types of businesses are out there to utilize your talents and don't just go from job to job. I did that until I realized that not many people are happy just working a job with no end in sight and it does effect people's behavior. For me it took finding a group of people that are focused on winning in life.

Depends on your state and whether it is a work at will state. Also, depends on your personnel records and what was recorded in counselling/appraisal reviews and your ability to get along with other employees, etc.

There are 3 sides to every issue. Yours, theirs, and the reality (read truth). Best thing to learn from this situation is to learn to keep your mouth shut or be more diplomatic about complaining about fellow workers. Also, you can have a hearing when you apply for unemployment benefits.

Good luck!

File a grievance with the labor and workforce board in your area. Peace!
