It's just the mind... and the mind can get VERY crazy and agitated over just about ANYTHING.
That's why the intelligence is higher than the mind.
The intelligence should ALWAYS be the driver and not the crazy mind.
People that ignore the intelligence and follow the pushings of the mind are going to suffer at some point, BIG TIME.
The mind and intelligence are two separate and unique identities.
I was a celibate monk when I was in my 20's, so I know how crazy the mind can get.
